We actually made it above timberline today and it is breathtaking (literally!). Old Fall River Road is one-way, up steep and winding switchbacks. Once we made it to Alpine Visitors Center, we took Trail Ridge Road back down. Unfortunately, this was the last picture taken before my battery died.
